An Exhibition by Jack Myntan

Artificial: A Multi-Layered Exploration of Mind and Media

Step into the world of Jack Myntan, where consciousness, creativity, and technology intertwine in unexpected ways. This exhibition invites you to explore the hidden architecture of our shared reality through his work, while examining the profound influence of media on our collective psyche.

A Multi-Layered Journey Through Consciousness and Media

As you enter Gallery 286, you’ll embark on a captivating multi-level experience that mirrors the layers of human consciousness and media influence:

The LoveConscious Gallery

Begin your journey surrounded by Myntan’s paintings and prints. These works, drawn from his unconscious mind and reimagined through artificial intelligence, represent a dialogue between artist and technology.

The Unconscious Gallery: Delving Deeper

Descend to the lower level, where video screens and exquisite prints offer tangible records of Myntan’s inner explorations. Here, the boundaries between individual and collective consciousness begin to blur, creating an experience that questions the impact of media on the unconscious.

Augmented Reality: Unveiling Hidden Dimensions

Some pieces in the exhibition can be viewed through a FREE Augmented Reality app on your smartphone (Search Artivive on your app store). This innovative feature not only reveals additional layers of meaning but also serves as a metaphor for the hidden influences of media in our daily lives.

Mind Portraits: A Window to Your Inner World

From October 9th to 14th, a limited number of visitors can participate in Myntan’s experimental “Mind Portrait” sessions. These sittings result in abstract portraits of your inner world, offering a unique opportunity to explore how media has shaped your individual psyche.

The Confluence of Human and Artificial Intelligence

“Artificial” represents a delicate balance between human intuition and AI-assisted processes. Myntan’s unique approach invites us to question the nature of creativity itself and explore the potential of our collective consciousness in an age dominated by media and technology.

A Deeper Purpose: Exploring Unseen Influences

While “Artificial” stands as a captivating artistic experience, it also serves as an exploration of unseen influences on our thoughts and perceptions. Through his work, Myntan invites us to consider the hidden “beacons” that may shape our reality – from subliminal advertising to social media algorithms – and the potential for greater awareness and connection in our media-saturated world.
